What is fibroblast?
Fibroblast is a non surgical skin treatment that is done with a plasma pen device. The device uses ionized gas. Strategic placement of tiny dots (carbon crusts) creates tightening and resurfacing of the skin. Fine lines, large pores, loose/saggy/crepey skin, stretch marks, skin tags, etc. it can also remove unwanted pigmentation in the skin.
If you have a skin tone that is darker than a Fitzpatrick 4 on the Fitzpatrick scale, you are not a candidate. (You can look up the Fitzpatrick scale on Google). If you scar very easily and your skin hyper pigments - you might not be a candidate. We can do a patch test to see.
Over the next 7 days the tiny carbon crusts will dry up and begin to shed and fall off.
You will not get the area wet.
Avoid hot steamy showers!!
An aftercare product will be given to you to apply to the area during the healing process.
Some swelling is normal the first few days.
Stay hydrated and stay out of the sun!
After the carbon crusts have all come off you must wear sunscreen for the next 30 days/SPF 50+ since the skin will be brand new and delicate. You can wear makeup right away after they’ve all shed.
No exfoliating for 2-4 weeks. Use gentle fragrance free cleansers and moisturizers. Keep your skin moist as it might be a little dry after for a couple weeks.
A little bit of pinkness on the fresh skin is normal and the color will balance itself out after a few weeks.
